Marble Outpost Lodge

SHORT-TERM RENTALS The upstairs of the
Marble Outpost is home to two 750-square-foot, 2-bedroom rental
apartments. The units are warm, cozy, tastefully appointed with mountain
furnishings, with big balconies, sunny windows, 60- to 80-foot ponderosa
pines, and stunning views of Mill Mountain. Each apartment is a
two-bedroom unit with a small kitchen and comfortable living room. Each
unit has its own bath, and comfortably sleeps a total of four in a master
bedroom with queen bed and a smaller bedroom with two bunkbeds. Each unit
also has a comfortable pull-out
futon that will sleep two. Each unit is furnished with gorgeous hand-made
quilts and beautiful dishes.
Guests also have access to four
mountain bikes that will fit a couple with two children; a beautiful red
canoe with life vests and paddles to bring to Beaver Lake, only a mile
away; and two spinning rods and reels for fishing at Beaver Lake. Pets are
welcome, and we have a secure kennel to house your dogs while you're away.
 MARBLE SCULPTORS: The Marble Outpost
is a two-minute walk from the sculpting area.
PILOTS: If you're flying in to the
Marble Airstrip (owned by Bob Conger, but public use is allowed), call in
advance and we'll come pick you up at the airstrip. We're located less
than half a mile away from the east end of the airstrip. We may even have
a vehicle you can borrow. Bring a cooler of groceries.
RATES: Each apartment rents for $119 a
night in the summer, $99 a night in the winter, plus applicable lodging
and sales taxes.
POLICIES: Because we have a short booking
season in Marble during the summer, we have explicit booking policies.
Please call for availability and deposit information.
WE WELCOME WELL-BEHAVED DOGS!
Bring your own dog blanket or dog bed to
keep your dogs off the furniture. If necessary, we may charge an
additional $25 cleaning fee.
