A Story About Bonnie Blue  On a cold spring day in 2004, my friend Dave Alvarez brought his 20-year-old daughter, Lindsay, over to our winter pasture in Crawford to see our horses. She was looking for pony club and hunter-jumper candidates. Out of 40 horses, she took one look and said, “That one!” pointing to Bonnie Blue. Bonnie Blue was one of our mountain horses, known for her extreme agility, rock-solid build, and toughness on the trail.
